“Journey Into Autism”

This workshop is designed as an experiential portal into the perspective of a child or adult with autism. Horses and those with autism share a perspective very different from our own and the horses can give us a unique insight into what it is like to live with autism.

Through dialog, human simulations, and experiential interactions with the horses we will journey into uncharted territory and attempt to reach a deeper level of understanding of the many different types of experiences those with autism struggle with every day. We will explore communication, behavior, learning, sensory issues, and many other common struggles.

This workshop can benefit parents, practitioners, caretakers, educators and anyone else who desires a deeper understanding and insight about how to more effectively connect with those with autism.
