Intuition communicates with us in many ways, and one of these is body sensations. Your intuition is trying to speak to you. It’s trying to get your attention. But, messages that come through the body are often misinterpreted, especially when they surface in the form of discomfort or pain.
I’m exploring all the ways we protect ourselves from uncomfortable sensations and, by doing so, miss the wisdom contained within them. When we avoid and push away these attempts to communicate they become louder and more insistent. If we do this long enough, they become symptoms.
Learning to sit with and fully experience these sensations is a way to begin to learn the language of the body and uncover the true meaning within the message. It’s a way to respond to your intuition with curiosity and compassion; as a witness to your inner world.
